The one skill every musician needs.
-
Hear any music and know what it says.
A tune on the radio, a line in a choir: you hear the notes and you can name them.
-
Read music and hear it before you play.
Open a score and the melody sounds in your head, before your voice or your hands touch it.
-
Sing and play better.
In tune, in time, and sure of what comes next.
A program, not another drills app.
Drills apps hand you random intervals and a score. A program builds the skill in order, each step resting on the last, the way the world’s best conservatoriums teach it.
You start with your first scale and end with music you have never seen. You sing in solfège and in letter names; they are the tools, and the goal is to hear music and read it fluently.
Native on iPhone and Android, and on the web, all at the same time.
Made by a conservatorium-trained musician. The same person behind the videos at @musilingual.
You have seen the videos.
Für Elise on @musilingual: the cursor moves through the melody and every note is sung by its solfège name.
The program teaches you to do this yourself: see the notes, hear them, sing them. Then any melody.
Melodies you know, sung note by note.
600,000+plays on TikTok
Classical and pop, engraved and sung in solfège and in letter names, at @musilingual.
Questions
Is it free?
Early access is free for the first 1,000 people on the list, counted in the order they joined. Your number tells you where you stand.
When does it open?
We are building it now. Leave your email and you get your number straight away. We email you the day early access opens, and nothing in between.
Which devices?
Native apps for iPhone and Android, and the web, all at the same time.
Do I need to read music already?
No. The program starts at the first note and teaches reading as you go. If you already read, the early steps go quickly.
What is solfège?
Solfège gives every note of the scale a name you can sing. Musilingual uses movable do, so do is always the home note of the key you are in. You learn letter names beside it.
Who is behind it?
Musilingual is made in Sydney, Australia, by a conservatorium-trained musician: the same person behind the videos at @musilingual.
Will you spam me?
No. One email now with your number, then one when early access opens. Reply “unsubscribe” to any email and you are off the list.
